Signos de solfeo con las manos
Objective
In this lesson you will learn the solfège hand signs for mi, so and la. This are the same three notes that we learn with the song Who is wearing blue? You are going to use the hand signs while singing to learn to identify the pitches and the notes.
About the lesson
Based on a Kodàly approach, this lesson starts by introducing the basic hand signs for mi, so and la to the student. Then, we procede to sing the pitches while we do the hand signs. I used Who is wearing blue? again because it uses the same pitches we are learning in this lesson. It also shows the students that they were already familiar with these pitches, they just need to add the hand signs. At the end, they sing the song in English and Spanish while doing the hand signs.
Objetivo
En esta lección aprenderás los signos de solfeo con las manos: mi, so y la. Estas son las mismas tres notas que aprendimos con la canción ¿Quién usa azul? Usarás los signos mientras cantas para aprender a identificar los tonos y las notas.
Acerca de la lección
Basado en el método Kodàly, esta lección empieza por introducir las señas básicas para mi, so y la. Después, empezamos a cantar las notas mientras se hacen las señas. Volví a utilizar ¿Quién usa azul? porque usa las mismas notas que aprendimos en esta lección. También les enseña a los estudiantes que ya estaban familiarizados con las notas, sólo que ahora van agregando y usando las señas de solfeo. Al final, se canta la canción en inglés y español mientras se hacen las señas.

Who is wearing blue? is a common children's song that uses a simple pattern with the notes mi, so and la as recommended by the Ontario Arts Curriculum for Grade 1.
