Objective
In this lesson the student will learn the concepts of beat, rhythm, rhythm division and subdivision and ostinato. The student will also see that they were already familiar with the same rhythm and patterns from the song we have been using Who is wearing blue?

En esta lección el el estudiante aprenderá los conceptos de pulso, ritmo, división y subdivisión de ritmo y el ostinato. El estudiante también verá que ya estaba familiarizado con estos mismos conceptos de ritmo y patrones con la canción que hemos estada utilizando ¿Quién usa azul?
About the lesson
Based on a Kodàly's approach, this lesson presents and practices the new concepts after preparing the students in advance. First, there is an introduction to what is the difference between beat and rhythm, and why they are important concepts in music. After, the quarter note and the eighth note are introduced, as well as their visual representation with ta and titi. Then, there is a brief analysis of the rhythmic patters Who is wearing blue? contains. The student gets to see a complete visual representation of the rhythm of the song. Finally, the lesson ends with the explanation of the ostinato that is present in the song.

Basado en el método Kodàly, esta lección presenta y practica los nuevos conceptos después de preparar a los estudiantes desde hace tiempo con la canción. Primero, hayuna introducción de cuál es la diferencia entre pulso y ritmo, y por qué son importantes en música. Después, se introducen los cuartos y octavos de nota, así como su representación con ta y titi. Después, hay un pequeño análisis de los patrones rítmicos de ¿Quién usa azul? El estudiante termina viendo una representación visual completa del ritmo de esta canción. Finalmente, la lección termina con la explicación del ostinatio que está presente en la misma.
