Dinámicas
Objective
In this lesson, the student will learn about the two basic dynamics: p, soft; f, loud. The student will also learn why dynamics are important and how to achieve different dynamics in singing. At the end, the student will incorporate it to a familiar song for the student to listen how much the song changes when different dynamics are used.
Objetivo
En esta lección el estudiante aprenderá las dos dinámicas básicas en música: p, suave; f, fuerte. El estudiante también aprenderá por qué las dinámicas son importantes y cómo lograr cambiar las dinámicas cuando catamos. Al final, estas dinámicas se incorporan a nuestra canción usual para que el estudiante oiga cómo cambia la canción dependiendo de la dinámica usada.
About the lesson
Based on a Kodàly's approach, this lesson presents and practices the new concepts after preparing the students in advance. First, there is an introduction on what dynamics are and why they are important in music. Then, the technique of changing dynamics by opening or closing their mouths more than usual is introduced for them to achieve soft and loud sounds. Finally, each phrase of call and response in Who is wearing blue? is assigned a dynamic for the instructor and the students to sing. The changes of dynamics are demonstrated first, and then the student participates by singing the different dynamics.
Acerca de la lección
Basado en el método Kodàly, esta lección presenta y practica los nuevos conceptos después de preparar a los estudiantes desde hace tiempo con la canción. Primero, se hace una introducción de qué son las dinámicas y por qué son importantes en música. Después, la técnica para cambiar dinámicas mediante abrir o cerrar más la boca que lo usual se introduce para que los alumnos logren sonidos fuertes y suaves. Finalmente, cada frase de la llamada y respuesta en ¿Quién usa azul? es asignada una dinámica para que la instructora y los alumnos canten. Los cambios de dinámica se demuestran primero, y después se pide al alumno participar cantando su parte y las diferentes dinámicas.

Who is wearing blue? is a common children's song that uses a simple pattern with the notes mi, so and la as recommended by the Ontario Arts Curriculum for Grade 1.
